Dry Cracked Desert

Here is a quick one about cracked land bases. It will be mostly about how great and easy to use is Crackle Paint from Green Stuff World.

First paint base in a collor you want to be seen through cracks. Here im using flat brown from vallejo

After paint dries up ive applied GSW Crackle Paint directly from the bottle.

After it dries apply reikland flesh shade all over it. Mine was a bit glossy so ive also applied Ultra Matt Varnish from AK over it.

Now add some grass, skull, rock or whatever you want and its done.

Why i like this Crackle paint product most so far? Its easy to use as you can just pour it from bottle, it dries quickly and in predictable way. You can also paint over it when its dry. I didnt had this when working with similiar stuff from GW. It dried in different ways (maybe because i didnt applied it correctly) and was too delicate to paint over.
