Short update about Legion Imperialis

With most of my Solar Auxilia done im now focusing mostly on playing games to learn this new system. I still have mixed feelings about some rules, especialy how close comnat works, but i do like few of them too. Secret orders and alternating activation are definitelly highlights of this ruleset. I also like all the interraction with buildings. That means occupying and destroying them. Because of this ive recently printed and painted few bigger buildings and also refreshed ruins i have since epic 2 edition.

With my group we are right now focusing on narrative scenarios from Great Slaughter, as we play a short campaign from that book. It works well as an introductory way to get us started. I forsee we will soon finish it off and take a short break from epic however as recently 40k reappeared on our gaming tables. Still it allows me to finish Solar Auxilia and got some basic experiance with this game so it sounds like mission accomplished.
